Flexible and easy to install, the Intermatic WP1010C Guardian weatherproof single-gang in-use cover is ideal for vertical outdoor outlets in a wet location. Compliant with Article 406.8(B)(1) of the 2005 National Electrical Code, the clear, polycarbonate cover fits over any switch or wall outlet, while its pre-adhered neoprene gasket protects the connection from weather. The black, UV-stabilized base fits over existing wall outlets and comes with 3 fixed, patented inserts to further seal the outlet: (1) for a toggle switch, (1) for a standard wall outlet, and (1) for a decorator switch or outlet.
